Try the OPC Server Manager before you buy to see just what it can do for you! The limitation is simply a two hour time limit.
The product can be unlocked once a serial number is purchased. Purchase of a licensed copy of the OPC Server Manager will provide you with a license key that will enable your software and allow you to continue to use any configurations you have previously built with the demonstration software.
You do need to use it with one of the Supported OPC Servers, so make sure you have at least a demo version of one of
these. The Dot Net framework version 1.1 or later is required also which can be downloaded from us or Microsoft.
Prerequisites for using the OPC Server Manager
Supported OPC Servers: Servers with the required runtime configurable tags.
OPC Server Requirements:
- If using the single connection edition, you will need one of these OPC servers installed on the same PC as the OPC Server Manager.
- If using the network edition, you will need access to one or more of these OPC servers on local or remote computers.
Computer Requirements:
For the computer on which OPC Server Manager will operate, you will need:
- Operating system - one of these:
- Windows NT 4.0 Workstation or Server
- Windows 2000 Professional, Server, or Advanced Server
- Windows XP Professional
- Memory - approximately 10 - 20 Mb free at runtime.
- Disk space - 5 Mb
- CPU - sufficient to run the operating system and OPC server of your choice.
- Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 or higher:
- Included on the CD with this product and installed automatically if not already installed.
